City Truck Equipment began as an internal solution to overcome delays, backlogs, and quality challenges with external upfitters. By bringing work in-house, City Rent a Truck improved efficiency, quality control, and turnaround times — and soon recognized its customers were facing the same struggles.

“We’ve spent the last five years upfitting our own rental fleet and watching those trucks perform in the field on some of the toughest jobs imaginable,” said Shaefer Schuetz, Vice President of Business Development. “After perfecting the craft on our own fleet, we’re ready to put a bow on it and offer this service to our customers as well.”
