At Work Truck Week 2026, Wabash emphasized its transition from simple manufacturing to becoming “curious problem solvers” for its customers. Duane Wickey, Regional Sales Director, sat down with CVB Network to discuss their strategy for shortening the sales and delivery cycle.
The centerpiece of their showcase was the Fast Mount program, which uses pre-built bodies to get units into customers’ hands in a fraction of the traditional lead time. To support this, Wabash has expanded its national footprint with new upfit centers in Phoenix and the Chicago area. These facilities enable highly tailored solutions, such as specialized cargo control for water and chemical transport, while keeping production geographically aligned with end users to reduce costs and complexity.
