America’s Work Truck: A Movement to Keep America Prospering

Knapheide’s launch of America’s Work Truck isn’t a slogan. It’s a movement. It’s about supporting the American worker who has trusted Knapheide for more than 175 years. It’s about helping America grow and prosper.

“If you think about America’s Work Truck, America works with trucks, and if we’re growing America, we have to work more, work harder and make sure you have the right truck,” said Mandar Dighe, Knapheide’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing. 

From small independent contractors to national firms, the American workers will keep America prospering.

“In order for all of that to happen, we have to have men and women perform their jobs on a daily basis, and to do that, they need the right work truck,” Dighe said.

Before starting America’s Work Truck movement, Knapheide readied by scaling its capacity, technologies and national footprint to meet the growing demand. “We continue to grow and expand our ability to produce bodies and accessories to support that growth,” Dighe said. “We continue to expand our footprint across the country with our sales and installation partners to support American workers at the front of what’s going on.”

Knapheide also works collaboratively with OEMs on how it can best support new products that meet the needs of the end users. “We want our customers to know what they want, know where to get it and be able to get equipped to do their jobs effectively,” Dighe said.

Since America’s Work Truck was introduced in March at the National Truck Equipment Association’s Work Truck Week expo in Indianapolis, enthusiasm grows. “From our distribution partners from around the country, it’s just been overwhelming excitement.  Excitement around what they can do to get on board and also very complimentary about the messaging and the quality of what we’re putting together,” Dighe said.
