Volvo Trucks Unveils the All-New VNX
Volvo Trucks has introduced the all-new Volvo VNX for demanding vocational and heavy-haul applications across North America.
Designed for industries such as construction, concrete, logging, agriculture, refuse, municipal work, and heavy hauling, the VNX combines heavy-duty construction with new safety, maneuverability, and connectivity features.
The Volvo D13 engine produces up to 540 horsepower and 1,950 lb-ft of torque. Heat-treated steel frame rails are rated for 160,000 pounds GVW, with application approval available for higher ratings.
New technologies include Remote Steer, which allows operators to control the truck from outside the cab at low speeds, and Terrain Brake, designed to stop unexpected vehicle movement on challenging terrain. Every VNX also includes a factory-installed 4G telematics gateway supporting Remote Diagnostics, Remote Programming, and Volvo Connect.
The VNX will be offered in three configurations:
- VNX 300 day cab
- VNX 440 with a 42-inch sleeper
- VNX 640 with a 62-inch midroof sleeper
Sales are scheduled to begin October 26, 2026.
