Rockport Commercial Vehicles Showcases Growth and Innovation at Work Truck Week 2026

After a couple of years of industry-wide belt-tightening, Rockport Commercial Vehicles is entering 2026 with a bullish outlook. General Manager Caleb Pontius spoke with Steve Henning about the company’s significant facility investments, which have effectively doubled their production capacity.

The focus for 2026 is on providing highly specialized “use case” solutions. This includes a transition to Plate Wall construction, a durable galvanized steel and composite core material, and the introduction of a “low-profile 60” Workport. Designed specifically for height-restricted environments, this new unit utilizes a 100% travel pull-out slide deck, allowing tradespeople to access their tools easily from the ground. By listening to dealer feedback and prioritizing operator safety, Rockport is positioning itself for a major rebound year.
