Acela Truck Company redefined the compact work truck at Work Truck Week 2026 with the debut of its Acela Dispatcher 4×4 work truck. Engineered for demanding environments, the Dispatcher combines drivability and off-road capability with a 2,600-pound payload (more than any 1/2-ton pickup according to the manufacturer) at a lower price point and in a smaller, more maneuverable package.
Built on a highly modified Jeep Gladiator chassis, Acela transforms the platform into a two-door extended cab paired with a custom, lightweight yet durable 7×5 foot “ute”-style flatbed with folding and removable sides and tailgate for added versatility.
The Dispatcher is also available as a cab-chassis with a bed-delete option for full customization.
